Canoeing on the Dinkel: Lattrop – Lage
The Lower Dinkel is the final stretch of the Dinkel River. Starting near the observatory in Lattrop, we paddle downstream, crossing the Dutch-German border and continuing towards Lage, a small village just across the border in Germany. This part of the Dinkel is a calm and peaceful river, perfect for a relaxing paddle.
Along the way, there is one weir where canoes must be carried, but convenient canoe docks are available to make this easy. The journey takes just under 1.5 hours.
At the endpoint, we provide shuttle service for drivers back to their cars at the starting location.
This canoe trip is perfect for families with children!
